The Rappahannock County Education Association is organizing a “Meet The Candidates” event for the evening of Wednesday, Oct. 13 in the Rappahannock High School Auditorium from 7 to 9.
There will be a social hour, with refreshments, following the forum to give the candidates and their constituents an opportunity to speak personally. Anyone interested in submitting questions for their district candidates should come at 6:30.
Other questions for the candidates were developed by a Question Committee. The Question Committee consisted of voters from each district not the Rappahannock County Education Association. Answers to these questions will be given orally and in written form at the forum.
The Rappahannock County Education Association’s primary objective in organizing this event is to provide the candidates an opportunity to share their perspectives on educational issues with the voters.
The “Meet The Candidates” forum is being endorsed by the following community organizations: — PTO, First Thursday Parent Group, Headwaters, The Athletic Boosters, Rappahannock Farmers’Association, Flint Hill Fire and Rescue, Belle Meade Day Camp.
