It should be apparent to those in attendance

at the Jackson District candidate forum held at the Amissville Fire Hall on Sept. 29 that Ron Frazier was the most qualified candidate for the Board of Supervisors - Jackson District.

Mr. Brown’s lack of understanding of local and state laws was displayed when he suggested that it was the Board of Supervisors fault that Amissville doesn’t have a bank. The county government does not build banks! Does “building services” also mean large scale development?

Mr. Atkins read a clipping from the Culpeper Star Exponent about a hi-tech company locating in Fairfax County that will employ 250 people. He claimed that Rappahannock County should go after businesses like this. That’s a good one liner, Jack, but let’s get real. Thankfully, large firms like this will not locate in a county without water
