Mr. Buxton was buried in his family plot at Pohick with his mother, father and grandmother.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Oct. 11 with the Rev. Jennings Hobson officiating.
Mr. Buxton is survived by his sister, Mrs. Jean Page Buxton Moffett of Washington; two nephews, William Francis Moffett III of Washington and Edward Page Moffett of Leesburg; one niece, Jean Carter Moffett Welling of Fairfax Station.
He is also survived by eight great nieces and nephews.

Richard Goff
Rixeyville resident
Marion Richard Goff, 67, of Rixeyville died Friday, Oct. 8 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was born May 6, 1932 in Fauquier County.
Mr. Goff was a veteran serving during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He was retired after 37 years of service with Virginia Power. He loved country and bluegrass music and played the banjo with the original Free State Ramblers.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mabel Goff.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Goff of Rixeyville; one son, Glen A. Goff of Woodbridge; two daughters,
