626 near the intersection with Rt. 622, lost control of his 1993 Plymouth van and ran off the road, striking a tree before colliding with a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Margaret Schadler, 49, of Washington, Va.
There were no injuries, and damage to each vehicle was estimated to be $1000. The juvenile was charged with reckless driving.

On Oct. 6, Trooper Sean Knick investigated a singlecar accident on Rt. 522 near the intersection with Rt. 662, where a Flint Hill woman sustained minor injuries.
Frederique Leroux, 25, was northbound on Rt. 522 when she swerved to miss an animal in the roadway. She went off the right side of the road, lost control, and went off the left side of the road, striking a fence.
Her 1986 Mazda sustained $4500 in damages, and she was charged with reckless driving.
