Sarah Elizabeth Sealock, 92, Hof Front Royal died Monday, Oct. 4 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Oct. 7 at Maddox Fungral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. L.J. Brown. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sealock was born Aug.i ,25, 1907, in Rap§ahannock County, d&ugjiter of the late Cleveland and:- Bessie Williams Rutherford.
S&e was a member of the Woiffen of the Moose Chapter 11947 She was the wife of the late James E. Sealock Sr.
Surviving are two sons, Meredith B. Sealock and James E. Sealock Jr., both of Front Royal; two daughters, Pat Tharpe of Front Royal and Madeline Newman of Rising Sun, Md., three sisters, Josie Smith, Ann Beaty and Ann#belle Mahoney, all of Fropt Royal; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and-, three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Eddie Sealock, Eric Sealock, Dale Sealock, Andy Sealock, Ronnie Newman and Chris Tharpe.

Charles B. Russell, 75, of Front Royal died Thursday, Oct.7 at home in Belmont. ■ He was bom on April 18, 1924»in Orlean, son of J. Rice and Mary E. Russell.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Brown Russell; three sons, Charles B. Russell Jr., J. Rice Russell and P. Joseph Russell; two daughters, Elizabeth W. Mackey and Mary Leigh McDaniel; three step-children, William Rice Matthews III, Westy Matthews Bachelor and Lorpner Matthews Blanton; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters, Genevieve R. Mattingly and Eugenia R. Middleton.
Mr. Russell was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served in the European Theatre with the 104 th Infaptry Division and received the Combat Infantry Badge. Following his military service he ,, attended George Washington University until entering the insurance business. He retired in 1993 as owner of . The Russell Insurance Agency.
Active in civic affairs, he served at various times as Front Royal Town Councilman, Mayor of Front Royal, President of Samuels Librgry, Vice-President of The Warren Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, chaired the Fundraising drive to build the Fro&t Royal Fire Hall, and wa^jji current member of the Front Royal Rotary Club.
