With the weekend of Oct. 16 and 17 fast approaching, the members of Trinity Episcopal Church are busy making final plans for this fabulous fall weekend. Flower arrangements are being made, tour houses are adding their final touches to welcome visitors, including the placement of an arrangement in each room, raffle tickets are being sold for the handmade, queen-sized “Tulip” quilt, cookies are being baked, and much more. We thank all who help pull this event together-for the enjoyment of everyone in our community - and beyond.
Your $15 ticket buys admission to three local homes and tea in Washington, at the Middleton Inn, itself a spectacular place to visit and enjoy while snacking on homemade sandwiches, cookies, and tea either indoors or on the front porch with the beautiful view of the surrounding hills.
Visit the Parish Hall with a beautifully designed display for a range of homemade dried flower arrangements. As you look at them, you can appreciate that the flowers have been grown from seed, dried, and arranged by our “talented” parishioners. The greens have been preserved in glycerin. The wild things have been carefully collected and kept. Can you choose which have been prepared by the novice and which by the expert?
