Who’s being “greedy”?
In calling Americans “possessive”, she means that we cherish too strongly our glorious constitutional rights. The very idea of a potential government official referring to the citizens as “greed” and “possessive” is outrageous and dangerous.
These sentiments of hers bring to mind an appropriate quote from the great George Washington: “Government is a terrible master and a dangerous servant.”
Perhaps what I see as “Freedom” and “Liberty”, Mrs. Gorfein sees as “greedy” and “possessive”.
