Investigators have moved a step closer to learning the exact cause of death of a Rappahannock County woman whose remains were found in a remote area near the county line last Saturday.
Medical examiners from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, D.C. are assisting the Commonwealth’s Medical Examiner in Fairfax County in determining the exact cause of death of Jessica Pruitt.
The 19-year-old Castleton woman was last seen June 15, leaving her job at Warrenton Chiropractic Office in the company of an acquaintance who’d asked for a ride. Although her vehicle was recovered two days later on a dead-end street in the residential section of Old Tbwn Warrenton, the whereabouts of Pruitt remained
