On Sunday, July 1 at 4 p.m. a celebration was
held at the Washington fire hall to recognize the exceptional service to Rappahannock County by Dr. Werner Krebser. ■ The meeting was sponsored by the fabled Lunch Bunch. The attendance was about 150 of a cross section of the county citizens who were known by the Dr. It was an enthusiastic and happy crowd enjoying meeting new and old friends while partaking of a marvelous pot luck feast.
The prayer was offered by Father Jerry Pokorsky of St. Peters Catholic Church.
After the feast several speakers paid tribute to Dr. Krebser.
