He talked for some time about his experiences over the past 35 years. At the completion of his remarks the citizens stood and applauded for considerable time. The Doctor was obviously embarrassed but pleased at the same time.
This observer was humbled by the wonderful people who were so friendly and enthused by the opportunity in honoring this Wonderful man.
This memorable pot luck gathering was so enjoyed by everyone that it makes one suggest that a like party be held occasionally just for the fun of it. Perhaps the “Lunch Bunch” should do this annually.
