Wrestling dub to host open mat
The Rappahannock Wrestling Club will host an open mat each Tuesday from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Rappahannock County High School. Contact Coach Jim Wells at 547-3407 for additional information.
Carnival at Brandy Station
The Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual fund raising event Aug. 8-11. Inners Amusements will once again be providing the midway and will have over 14 rides for both the young and older ages. This is a very special year for the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department because it marks their 50th anniversary.
A family night will be held Wednesday with a special ride price. The firemen's parade will be held on Thursday beginning at 6:30 and led by the newly crowned Miss Virginia. A matinee will be held on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The carnival grounds are located just off of 15/29 in Brandy Station on State Route 685; which is Fleetwood Heights Road.
Warren County pageants set
The Warren County Fair, Front Royal will host the follow- J ing pageants on Aug. 4 and Aug. 6. Final registration will be July 29.
Fairest of the Fair, ages newborn through four years of age, boys and girls and mother/daughter. These two classes may live within a 50-mile radius.
Little Miss, Jr. Miss and Miss Warren County must be residents of Warren County. Applications may be picked up at Debbie's Ivy Garden, 635-7156 or Warren County Fair office at 635-5827.
Services Board to meet
The next meeting of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Disability Services Board will be Thursday, July 19 at 10 a.m. to be held at the Madison County Social Services Building, 101 South Main Street, Madison.
