There the lengths of stovepipe that surrounded the busted freezer were scattered like ten pins.
That’s were I stored my organic fertilizers, like the gallon of fish emulsion that had been quaffed the day before. But all I had were dry fertilizers—green sand, bone meal (hmmm) and blood meal (oh no). That’s what the red trail was on the grass—twenty pounds of blood meal gone. Imagine chewing on that! I guess I could have used the blood meal trail as a vector to my friend bear, but I had had sufficient close encounters and decided against.
Well, I guess I have had it with him. He’s eaten sixteen loaves of bread, orts aplenty, cat food, fish emulsion—and now blood meal. He would definitely qualify me for an additional dependent on my taxes. This bear is eating me out of house and home and garden, but I think that I may have a solution. We’ll just see how clever he is.
