The Amissville Ruritan Club is sponsoring a CPR class at the Amissville Fire Department on Saturday July 14 from 7 a.m. to noon. The cost is $1 for the handbook. If you would like to attend please contact Charlie Mills at 829-5258.
The Amissville United Methodist Church will have Vacation Bible School July 1620 from 6:30 to 8:30 each evening. The theme is “Holy Fires”. It is about all of the fires in the Bible.
Vacation Bible School is for children ages 3 and up. If you would like more information, call Faye Smoot or Jan Makela.
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department Queen this year is Michelle Woodard; Jr. Miss is Ashley Ridgeway; Little Miss is Alisha Stanley, and Little Mister is Nathaniel Jackson. The Fire Department would like to thank all who participated in the carnival and parade, and a big thank you to all the volunteers and people who donated food for the box dinners.
