Amber asked quite professionally if I would buy some raffle tickets for a fund raiser for the fire department, her grandmother Lee Anna Wharton drove her to my home to complete the sale.
It appears that Amber enlisted the help of her Uncle Albert and Aunt Joyce Wharton, grandparents, Jimmie and Mary Frances Dodson, grandmother Lee Anna and her parents, Ronnie and Lisa Dodson, in taking her around the county to sell tickets and taking them to their work to sell.
She kept herself and everyone working right until the last minute. Amber was delighted when she was selected as Little Miss SVFD!
