Rev. Jim Pittman and his church Amissville Full Gospel sponsored a trip to Pennsylvania on Friday, June 20. • In addition to his own church, members of other churches were invited. The day began with breakfast at the church, with “Chef Daniel Peregory preparing bacon and ham biscuits, donuts, coffee and juices. The biscuits were baked and provided by “Miss Janet’s” bakery. • The bus was loaded and rolled out at 7 a.m. traveling into Maryland and on to Pennsylvania where they dined at the beautiful “Shady Maples Restaurant” in Lancaster and also some folks did some shopping in the gift shop.

On the bus again we made our way out through the beautiful Amish Country, on to the Rockvale Outlets, where more shopping was done and some just strolling around to work off our big meal.

The next stop was the Living Waters Theater where we viewed the play “Abraham and Sarah, Journey of Love.”

Upon leaving the theater we traveled back through York, Pa. where our driver stopped and gave us time to djne again, after which we headed for home arriving back at the church around midnight.

In addition to Rev. Pittman, others make the trip were Mrs. Pittman and sons, Bo and Seth, Lorie and Loren Peregory, Buddy, Betty and Angela Whorton, Kim, Jamie
