Checks should be made payable to “Treasurer, Rappahannock County” and designated “for Historic Survey”.

About our schools
In his monthly report to the Board of Supervisors, School Superintendent Dr. David Gangel provided the Board with financial details for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, and of the reorganization plan recently proposed by Dr. Gangel and accepted by the School Board at their meeting of June 21.
Dr. Gangel told the Board of Supervisors that the reorganization plan had been effected to ensure that Rappahannock County achieves its goal of becoming the first school division in the State to become fully accredited. Information on both the reorganization and end-ofyear financials was reported in the Rappahannock News’ July 4 edition.
