Prayers go up for Mrs. Frances Edwards who has returned from Culpeper Regional Hospital following a heart attack, and for Mitzi Robinson who is ill.
Quite a number of people from our area attended the Amissville Firemen’s parade last week, which lasted for approximately two hours.
Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville was a Thursday and Friday overnight guest of her niece, Mrs. Janet Peregory and family on Castleton Ford Road.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Peyton of Clover Rock were in Fredericksburg July 4 to attend the 42nd wedding anniversary for Mrs. Peyton’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Knott.
We hope each and everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July festivities, as we celebrated the 225th birthday of our great nation. May we never forget how blessed we are to live here in America and appreciate the liberty our forefathers established.
