Annual Bland
contest slated
Now is the time for all young musicians to tune up their instruments and vocalize their voices. The Rappahannock Lions Club has sponsored annual Bland Music contests for many years as part of a statewide program dedicated to encouraging student skills and to provide a showcase for their unique talents.
This year’s competition is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24 at The Theatre in Washington. *
