Casino Night
2002 planned
Plans are currently underway for another elegant and fun filled evening at the Second Annuaf Casino Night sponsored by the Rappahannock County School Sports Association. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Washington School.
The evening will begin with a cocktail/social hour at 7 p.m. and gaming tables will be open from 8 to 11 p.m. The entry fee of $25 will include soft drinks, hors d’oeuvres, $10,000 in gaming money to play with and five grand prize tickets for the drawing at the end of the evening. Spring Soccer
League accepting
Registrations
The Rappahannock Soccer League is currently accepting 2002 spring soccer registrations. They are available at the Rappahannock Library and the Washington Post Office Kiosk.
Fees are $35 for first player and $20 for each additional family member. Some scholarships available. Volunteers are needed for coaching and an adult referee. Call the Registrar, Laura Dodd at 547-2968 for more information. The final day to register is Feb. 15, 2002.
