school in the Library on Thursdays. This is a way to encourage the students to read as most of them will say “we just love books”. They are hoping some may be chosen to compete in the Regionals in May. Good luck students.

Our sympathy is extended to the Menefee family upon the passing of Isaac Menefee on Jan. 28. He was a Boston resident for many years.

Pastor Dallas Smith and congregation of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church extends an invitation to their church services. Sunday School starts at 10 a.m.; worship at 11 and Sunday evening service at 7 p.m.

A course in Food Sanitation and Certification will be held at the Culpeper County Library in the Southgate Shopping Center. The course began Monday and will continue for six consecutive Mondays from 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Anyone in our area interested in this course, call 540-672-1361.

Rev. Howard Frye, pastor of Nazareth Baptist Church was a speaker at the Wayland Blue Ridge Association meeting held at Rylan Place in Rixevville last Saturday.
