Hallie Lawrence Jackson, 75, died Feb 1 at INOVA Fairfax Hospital.
Mrs. Jackson, a native of Amissville, moved to the Washington area in 1944 and lived in Annandale since 1962.
She was a graduate of Washington High School in 1943.
Mrs. Jackson worked as a procurement specialist for a number of DoD agencies, retiring in 1989 from the Defense Communication Agency.
Mrs. Jackson was an avid tennis player and an active member of the Annandale United Methodist Church for almost 40 years.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, John A. Jackson of Annandale; two daughters, Deborah Jackson Geiger of Annandale and Donna Alane Jackson of Falls Church; three granddaughters, Caitlin, Rachel, and Rebecca; two sisters, Margaret Lee Lawrence Wine of Falmouth and Mary Elizabeth Lawrence of Warrenton; two brothers, Edward Alton Lawrence and Charles Gilbert Lawrence Jr. both of Amissville.
Funeral services were held at Annandale United Methodist Church on Feb. 5. Burial was at Annandale United Methodist Church Cemetery.
