Mayor Stew Willis noted too that the Town's consulting engineer, Resource International, said that they are 95 percent complete with their preliminary engineering work, and that they expect that it will take another month to finish. Within a week or so, the Mayor said, he will get a draft, drawing of the proposed drainfield from the firm.
Mayor Willis also said that an approval from the Virginia Department of Health for the wastewater treatment system will require “a more formal drawing of the drainfield,” and that additional funds will need to be allocated so that Resource International can proceed.
