Black History program slated Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville invites the public to join them in a celebration of “Black History" on Sunday, Feb. 10 as they view the film,"Come Day, Go Day; God Sent Sunday” at 2 p.m. The film is a 1973 documentary on the black church and the lifestyle of the black community of Rappahannock County. This film is a production of Charles L. Perdue and Nancy MartinPerdue with narrations by the late Deacon C.C: Lewis. Lunch will be served following the morning service at 11. Rev. Henry Townes is pastor of Hopewell and Ms. Treavous Lewis is the Celebration Coordinator.
