Financing sought
for reservoir
Mayor Willis reported that Mr. Allen of the Rural Development Administration <RDA> had paid a visit to the Town, and that he said that the RDA could provide funding for the reservoir, hut not as a grant. At the suggestion of Mr. Critzer, inquiries were made to the F&M Dank and the Rappahannock National Rank, and the Mayor said that there is a possibility that either* or both could provide the Town with a loan at a rate between 4.5 and 5 percent interest. The Mayor will have more definitive numbers at the next meeting of the Town Council.
