• If reading is important to you, and you are interested in providing the best possible reading materials for the children of Rappahannock , then please consider this: According to our state’s textbook adoption cycle, it is time to look at new reading materials for grades K-5.
If you would like to review reading books at RCES, please contact Raye Tupper, RCES Principal at 987-8259. These textbooks will be available for parent review throughout the month of February.
• Do you enjoy reading good literature? Are you a lover of the classics? Do you find book discussions stimulating? Then please call Jan Makela, Volunteer Coordinator, to offer your time and talent.
Eighth Grade teacher Mike Weir is looking for a volunteer to read the books he assigns to his students, and then discuss them with his advanced reading students as an enrichment activity while he provides individualized instruction to other students.
