On May 1, Charles Adrian Moore retired from the Virginia State Polue after 29 years of service. ~
Moore joined the State Police Jh June 1973 and was initially assign^! to Prince William County. He transferred to Rappahannock County *h June 1975 after W.A. Buntin retired from the State Police. *
Moore remained in Rappahannock County until his retirement date.
He graduated from Handley High School m Winchester in 1970, attended Potomac State College and eventually chose law enforcement as**a career. ^
For several years, Moore wa^}t canine handler for the State Police and attended 12 weeks of training i«r tracking, attack, ahd obedience wa& with the dogs he was assigned, fJJlowed by monthly training sessionf*
He was honored with a retirement-birthday party on May 11. Z,
Moore enjoyed working Rappahannock County and makifl& many fine friends and acquaintances.
