7 • The Epicurious Cow and Worth Associates proudly present, “Paris in: Rappahannock” on Saturday, Jane 8 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Stanley Karnow, Pulitzer prize-winning author of “In our Image and Vietnam", will be the guest for a book signing - Paris in the Fifties. r': Enjoy the transformation of the EGOW into a little French market with Kimberly Keese “Cheese Goddess” of Cheeseworks, offering samples of some of France’s finest cheeses. ■> Hugues Beaulieu, former Somfnaiier of The Inn at Little Washington, will be offering samples of French wines from Kysela Imports, for an afternoon of little bit of France in the country. There will also be photographs of Paris Bistro’s and Cafe’s by Sally Seymour.

Friends of the

Library book sale

The Friends of the Library book .sale will continue this_year but with a new date and completely new venue. The Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue will be the site of the 2002 book sale fund raiser. The preview sale and festivities will be held Friday June 28 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (

All friends and donor members are invited as guests and nonmembers as well with a $10 admission. The sale continues on Saturday June 29 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The selection of hardbacks and paperbacks is better than ever and a special collection of over 90 flyfishing books (from $5 -$500) has been donated for this year’s sale. The Washington Baptist Church Youth Group will be selling lunch during the Saturday hours.
