The Wakefield Country Day School girls basketball team wrapped up its regular season last week, defeating Quantico High School 37-31 and Word of Life Academy, 40-31.
Chantel Paul put 39 points on the board between the two contests with Jordan Hammelman scoring 24 for the Owls.
The varsity girls’ basketball team finished the season with a 15-8 record in the Delany Athletic Conference.
The Owls are now ranked seventh in the state in the Divisiony2D 3 Virginia Independent Schools Girls’ Basketball Association.
