Lander, related the current Board of Supervisors’ consensus to allow the Foundation one year to develop and present a plan for the structure and property—reported in the “Rappahannock News”, Nov. 4, 2004 edition.

The Foundation, for over a year, has been following the outline developed by E. Franklin Warner, alumnus of the school, to gamer support for the school’s preservation and reuse.

Neighbor, and architect, Tbm Tepper made a preliminary survey of the building in 1996, finding it to be relatively sound and salvageable.
