In the consolation semifinal round, Raney fell Clarke County’s Chris Lison in :32, bracketing him into the consolation finals.
There, Raney minor-decisioned Strasburg’s Bryan Strejcek, 9-4 for the third place finish.
At 160 pounds, Panther grappler Justin Robinson fell to Clarke County’s John Crockett, who is ranked fourth in the state, with an 8-4 minor decision.
Robinson recovered well in the consolation bracket, pinning Madison County’s Ben Berry in :22 before falling George Mason’s Ramsey Hanna in 1:11 for third place.
In the 275-pound class, Rapp’s Morgan Blubaugh fell in semi-finals to Madison County’s Tommy Frazier in 1:35, then placed third when he pinned Strasburg’s Shane
