Health Information Professionals Needed!
Fauquier Hospital is seeking the following HIM professionals:
* Health Information Clerk II part-time (including weekends). Responsibilities include inpatient, SDC, and ED assembly and 1st analysis, answering phones, refiling in Master file area, and the ability to trouble shoot level 1 technical difficulties.
* Health Information Team Leader full-time. Responsibilities include the coordination of on-going training, monitoring and scheduling, investigation and assistance with resolution of technical and customer service issues. 2 years of HIM experience preferred.
*Health Information Supervisor full-time Responsibilities include assisting in the managing of the department’s daily operations; supervision of activities in centralized transcription, release of information, birth certificate, record processing and filing; maintaining compliance with all licensing and accrediting agencies; coordination of hardware and software within HIM; assistance with coordination of projects and acting as a liaison with outside vendors, Medical Staff and Department Managers. Associates or Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management or related field, RHIA or RHIT certification, and a minimum of 1 year’s supervisory experience required.
