received numerous other awards. She has trained with some of the most distinguished contemporary cellists at Juilliard with Leonard Rose and Bernard Greenhouse. Later she became teaching assistant to Janos Starker at Indiana University, who says of her “. . . a superb cellist and musician, a rare artist . . . among the most outstanding of her generation.” In addition to keeping up a busy performance schedule, Mushabac is professor of cello at the Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music in Cleveland.
