establishment with a written proposal for starting a similar clinic in the Town of Washington. With the Rappahannock Health Department offering their building as a home for the clinic, plans began to form.
The clinic is now thriving with the help of many volunteers and funding from the county. There are those who volunteer their time to checkin patients and review paper work to establish eligibility, while nurses and doctors donate their time to examine and care for patients.
Strange commented, “we could not do this without the incredible amount of volunteer help from the citizens of Rappahannock County.”
