The 23 artists of the ONE/OFF printmaking group are returning in March to the Middle Street Gallery to display their varied techniques, following well-received shows there in 2001 and 2003.

“Visitors to the Middle Street Gallery show will have a chance to see how diverse and innovative the world of contemporary printmaking can be,” said ONE/OFF member, Mary Holland, Director of the Studio School at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

“Some of the printmakers combine such traditional media as etching with relief and photo-based elements to amazing effect.”

The ONE/OFF Printmakers Show will be at the Gallery from March 4 through 27 with an artists’ reception on Sunday, March 6th, from 2:00-5:00 p.m.

“We hope artists as well as art lovers will join us at the reception to meet the printmakers and discuss this large show of work,” Holland added.
