Single vehicle
accident
A single vehicle accident took place on Rt. 522, north of Flint Hill on Feb. 16 at 4:20 p.m.
The 1994 van, driven by William Comeau, 38, of Mt. Jackson, Va., ran off the left shoulder of the roadway, striking a ledge, causing the vehicle to flip over several times.
Comeau and a passenger, Barry Baker, 33, were both transported to Warren Memorial Hospital with nonlife threatening injuries, according to State Police Trooper Don Corbin.
Comeau was charged with reckless driving. Passenger air-lifted from accident scene
A single car accident resulted in a passenger, Brenda Sue Jenkins, 51, of Luray being flown by helicopter to Fairfax Hospital for precautionary reasons on Feb. 17 at 11:50 a.m.
