Sympathy is extended to the family of Miss Emily Bruce, who at 98 passed away on Wednesday at Autumn Care of Madison and was laid to rest in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Since the retirement of Rev. Kenny Hunneycutt, who was pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, Reva Way, the Rev. Glenn Lutz of Winchester has been serving as interim pastor and he and the congregation invite the public to attend their services. Sunday School is held at 10 a.m. and there is an 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship.
We’d like to send our special birthday greetings this week to family members of the Atkins twins, Ray and Robin who will celebrate another year on Saturday, to junior Gray whose day is Sunday, MacKenzie Miller turns four on Tuesday and cousin Edna Dennis grows another year on Wednesday. May the good Lord grant each of you many more years on this earth.
