The months of February through May are a time of intense activity for members of the Rappahannock Unit of the American Cancer Society and their many supporters. This year it is especially so since in addition to the regularly occurring events, Daffodil Days and the Relay for Life, the Board will also be presenting a Community Health Fair. Don’t forget your daffodils
The first event, Daffodil Days, is a fund raiser in support of the American Cancer Society’s programs of research, public education, advocacy and patient services. The daffodil is known as the “flower of hope” and symbolizes the triumph over cancer and the hopeful spirit that cancer patients exhibit in their personal battles against the disease.
