There was plenty of food and fun for all this past Saturday at the community banquet and fire department awards dinner. If you’re a lover of down home country cooking and good old time fellowship you couldn’t have asked for any better.
Eveiyone had a great time catching up with family, friends, and neighbors among the near 70 people that came. Of those attending, there were a few honored guests such as Rappahannock County Supervisor Roger Welch and his wife along with Chief of the Flint Hill Fire Department, Bruce Wiliams and his wife as well as Deputies Heather Fadley and Neil Pennington of the Rappahannock County Sheriff's Office.
Coming from the Warren County side were Warren County Fire Chief Richard Mabie and his family as well as Chief of the Front Royal Fire Department Junior Kisner and his wife. A special thanks is given to the following ladies for their help in cooking the meat for the banquet: Maybelle
