Taking place in Washington on Feb. 25-27 is the winter session Of the “Life Stories Workshops” with Julie Portman. This 3-day Introductory course is for people of all backgrounds, ages and writing experience.

Community First Aid and Safety
Red Cross will be giving classes starting Feb. 25 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. for Adult CPR, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. to 1p.m. will be Infant/Child CPR and Feb. 26 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.will be First Aid
The classes will be held at the Red Cross building, 146 N. Main Street, Culpeper.

GED Practice Test
Due to inclement weather for the GED Practice test, the GED test at the Carver Center on Route 15 has been postponed. The GED test date for Feb. is the 25 and 26.
The Carver Center is open for registration for the GED test Monday through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, two late evenings have been added for your convenience. On Monday and Thursday evenings you may register for the GED test until 8 p.m. If you have any questions, call the Office of Adult Education at 825-0476.
Weekend at the Movie
“A Few Good Men” by Aaron Sorkin, a production of Georgetown University’s Theater Program and The Black Theatre Ensemble will be shown at The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2:30 p.m. $15 for adults, $5 for students 18 and under, reserved seating.
Spring Soccer sign up
Rappahannock Soccer Association is accepting Spring registrations through Feb. 2$. All kids age 5-15 are encouraged to sign up. Great fun, great sport and great exercise are the key elements! Alice In Wonderland
Rappahannock County High School Drama students will perform Alice In Wonderland on Sunday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. in the high school auditorium. This adaptation was written for young children but is sure to be enjoyed by all ages. A Mad Hatter Tea Party will follow performance! Tickets at the door $5 general admission.
