As I enter into my second year of real estate sales in Rappahannock, I am becoming more aware of what we truly have in our county. I have sold property in many surrounding counties. Though they are very beautiful as well, there is something very special about Rappahannock, it’s like an island in a sea of change.
Some may say we have to go with the times and to some extent we will. But Rappahannock has a magic about it that one cannot put into words. I found a quote in an old book about Rappahannock that I love. The original book, My Rappahannock Story Book, by Mary Elizabeth Hite, is hard to find just like the county it was written about.
