Risky business
Of course, there were a few risqu6 jokes that were only barely double-entendre and will not be repeated here. However, it can be noted that there was a “Monica” joke which some in the audience did not readily understand. Then, in a hilarious aside, Russell added, “I’m so proud of all you folks that didn’t get this joke!” And laughter broke out all over again.
Theatregoer Gwen Hays summed up what distinguished this event for many of us in our small rural setting.
