• The previously scheduled joint meeting of the Town of Washington Planning Commission and the Washington Town Council for Monday, August 22, has been postponed. They will now meet on Monday, September 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall on Gay Street to review the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan. The public is encouraged to attend. • On Wednesday, August 24 there will be no public meeting for the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA). • The opening of Rappahannock County Public Schools has been delayed. School will open on Tuesday, September 6 for both the elementary and high school.
