In last week’s paper there was an announcement for the unveiling and dedication of a state historical marker in honor of John Jackson. We were informed when, Saturday, August 20th at 3:00 p.m., but no location was given. First let’s clear up that mystery. The location of this event will be at Millwood, the birth place of John and current residence of the Robert Darbys on Rt. 522 at the eastern edge of Woodville. Following the dedication there will be an open barbecue. This event is open to the public and free to all.
