Our earliest record at the Historical Society shows a James Jackson born about 1867 in Madison County. He married Molly (Mollie) Grigsby, bom about 1870, in Woodville. They were married on December 15, 1891. Two of their children were Minnie and Sutty. Suttie (Sutty) (Sudy) Jackson, Sr. was bom around 1888 in the Hawlin Districrt of Rappahannock County. He married Hattie R. Hanie (Hany) who was bom around 1893 in Peola Mills. They were married March 27, 1910 in Rappahannock at the bride’s home.
John Jackson was bom on the farm at Millwood in Woodville on February 25, 1924. He was the seventh of 14 children
