Sunday at the age of 90 and at her passing Black Oak Regular Baptist Church has lost one of her oldest members.
Ms. Jean Ryals and Bobby Knighting of Troy, Va. were Saturday guests of Mrs. Henry Wharton and they were joined by Amber Dodson and had lunch at Country Cafe.
Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier spent last week at camp Richlands, near Bristol, Tenn.
Belated birthday wishes go out to Lisa Dodson who celebrated her day Thursday and she and husband, Ronnie dined at the Inn in Little Washington for her day.
Also belated wishes go out to Rev. and Mrs. Sandy Martin, who celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday and as a gift were given a trip to Hawaii. Rev. Martin is the new pastor of Slate Mills Baptist Church.
