Mow J. w. was able to stand the noise I made on that guitar, I will never understand. I didn't know how to tune it, much less how to play anything. After getting it somewhat in tune, if J.W. played a tune in G chord, I would just play G all the way through the tune. It must have been torture for him. But, he would just smile and keep on playing.
Somehow, J.W. was able to see that the “Pullen” part of this Brady boy loved the music, too.
I shall be forever grateful to James Washington Pullen for the legacy of music that he left to me and to all those who loved him.
Rest in Peace, my friend. We will pick again.
