Once again, The Inn at Little Washington has garnered one of the most coveted awards in the restaurant industry. The Wine Spectator chose The Inn as one of four Grand Award winners for 1995. "Everyone at the Inn is honored and delighted to have the Wine Spectator's highest international award. It is a special tribute to our talented sommelier Hugues Beaulieu and the efforts of our manager Tam Petot, "said chef and coowner Patrick O'Connell. The Wine Spectator, the most widely distributed magazine about wine, has a three-tiered award system for restaurant wine lists. Over the 14 years awards have been given, only 96 restaurants in the world have won the Grand Award. With the liner in place for the sewage lagoon at the elementary school, school can open on schedule, Superintendent David Gangel told the School Board Tuesday night. Dr. Gangel said he now anticipates the upgrade of the lagoon including installing a system to treat waste with duckweed will cost about $162,000.
