The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad (SVRS) is in trouble.
Problems of personnel, internal conflict, and administrative confusion could threaten the future of the squad. Symptomatic of these difficulties is a recent enforcement action taken against the SVRS by the Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) on June 28.
