Jane Ritchey, a native of Pennsylvania, defines herself as someone who loves to draw and paint and as a perennial student. “The minute I become self-satisfied as a painter, I am in trouble,” she stated.
Ritchey has had three years of formal training at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, now the University of the Arts, and has studied extensively with master artists and in workshops both in Virginia and Pennsylvania.
