Poker Run

The American Road Motorcycle Club will sponsor a Poker Run on Sunday, September 11 for Patriots Day. All proceeds will be to benefit the “Fisher House.” Sign up starts at 11 a.m. and the cost is $10 per hand. All riders welcome, you don't have to ride to support Fisher House. The Rappahannock Quilt Group will meet the second Tuesday of each month from 9 a.m. till 2 p.m. starting September 13 at the Washington Fire Hall in Washington, VA. Bring your lunch and join us. There will be demonstrations during the Winter months. On September 13, (the first day) Mary Collins will have a CD show of Quilters Unlimited 32nd Annual Quilt Show Pink Ribbon Affair in Fairfax. The 10th annual Rappahannock Music Festival will be held on September 17 and 18 on the grounds at Oldway Art Center in Sperryville. Any bands of individuals interested in performing are asked to contact Brian Ross via at 987-1010 or email brijross@copper.net or go to the web site rappahannockmusicfestival.com fill out application to perform even though the rest of the web site is not current and up to date.the Rappahannock Music Festival is about Rappahannock County music and musicians. It is a celebration of our own musical culture and community. Performers must have some close ties to the geographical area in order to qualify.
